 Install scheduleUs Family
To start the installation, double-click the scheduleUs Setup.exe file you downloaded from the Internet. If you have a CD, insert it and the installation should start automatically. Follow the on screen instructions.
Define your family resources
Family resources typically include family members, but may also include pets, vehicles or other items that regularly need to be scheduled. Each resource will be assigned a name, a color and initials. Use the Available Calendars button if you wish to display events for a particular resource.
Add Events and Assign Owners
To add events, click the Add Events button or double click on the date and time of the event. While adding the event information, double-click a family resource to assign the event owner (the primary event participant). The event will be highlighted with the event owner's color. Single-click other resources that will be included in the event.
Get Calendars
Click the Get Calendars button and search for organizations in your area that publish their calendars with scheduleUs Publisher. Once you have a Publisher's ID, you can list all of the calendars for that publisher and download the ones you're interested in. During this process, you can assign an event owner to the calendar so all of the events will be color-coded to that owner.
Web Update
Click the Web Update button and it will immediately check for any updates to calendars you've already downloaded. You can review the changes before they are applied to your calendar.
Printing your Calendar
Click the Print button to select from several different print styles. Print your entire schedule or print a calendar for the resources currently being displayed using the Available Calendars button.
Syncing with your PalmTM
scheduleUs can HotSync with any PalmTM OS device. You can choose whether or not existing events on your PDA get transferred to your scheduleUs calendar. You can also choose to transfer events assigned to specific resources to your PDA. |
